Interacting with Our Audience in Front of the Camera

In this week’s episode about feeling good in life and work, Kathleen and I share how energized we are when we’re connecting with our people. And it’s true – even as an introvert, you bosses jazz me up and get me excited about my work and the content that we’re able to share.

One of the ways we most like to share our content is through webinars, live events we hold online to share content and interact with our community at the same time. Kathleen and I have been doing lots of webinars over the past few weeks, and we thought it might be handy to share a recap and some replay links to these here:

From Being Boss:

10 Sales Copy Tweaks that Convert

We recently dove into some sales goodness with our friend and fellow boss, Kendrick Shope, about some steps you can take to better sell yourself in your sales pages, product descriptions, email subject lines, and more.

“Second time watching as I’m just writing my blurb for products on my website, naming products, etc. You guys are sorting my problems right out!” -Phillipa

“Most useful and easily implementable tips I’ve gotten anywhere. Thank you!!” -Elizabeth

Rock Your Web Design Business Webinar Series

At Indie Shopography I have been sharing some serious insights into how to run a rockin’ web design business. In this series of three webinars, I’ve covered everything from redefining payment plans for website projects to how to get your clients to deliver content on time.

“I listened to your webinar yesterday and used some of your tips today. Ended up landing two website contracts in two hours!” -Whitney

From Braid Creative:

Branding Webinar Series

At Braid Creative, Kathleen and Tara just reopened their Braid Method Branding Ecourse, and they’ve been diving deep into some of the topics that our ecourse students work through in their personal brand. In this three-series webinar, they’re covering how to bring more of who you are into the work you do, how to attract dream clients (and repel not-so-dreamy ones), how to close the deal in your selling conversations, and how to get more clients and still love your job.

“Leaving this webinar feeling motivated and ready to rock some branding shit out ???? ” -Rebecca

Hosting webinars are a great way to grow your list, share your expertise, and nurture your tribe. We use them as a way to create more content, hang out with our people in a way we can’t when we’re just publishing blog posts and podcasts, and they’re a great way to build up buzz for and to pitch new offerings.

If you’re looking to learn more about how to host your own webinars, check out a recent Toolkit by Indie that shares our entire process for how to host your own webinar.
