Marketing Plans For Bosses

And you can do it in whatever way feels best for you. Promise.

Marketing Your Way

Whether you like it or not, marketing is part of what you have to do. The good news is that there’s so many ways to do it! There really is a marketing plan that fits every boss.

In this week of the Being Boss podcast, I (Emily here!) chat with my friend Nikki Nash, author of Market Your Genius, about creating marketing plans. And the wonderful thing about doing business in the modern age is that you have so many options to choose from.

Maybe you just want to focus on building the kind of experience that has your customers telling everyone they know about what you do – that’s called word of mouth marketing, and it’s one of my favorites.

Or maybe you want to use some of your artistic energy to craft catchy TikToks or Reels of your creative process – put on that filmography hat, boss, and do your thing.

Or maybe you want to own Pinterest or be a networking event maven or make a killing off direct mail. There’s so many options that there really is something for everyone, you just have to choose your path.

Whichever way you go, this week’s round-up of resources highlights what’s new (or maybe just new to you) in the world of marketing, because getting your name out in the world is how you grow and get closer to achieving your goals.

P.S. Speaking of word of mouth marketing… If you’re loving Brewed be sure to share it. You can earn rewards like digital downloads, stickers, a coffee mug, and more! Find your share link at the bottom of every edition of Brewed.
